By booking our repair and maintenance services, you agree to these terms. We have written them in plain English so you actually know what you are signing up for — no hidden surprises.

Welcome to FIXIT UAE. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website (fixituae.org) and all repair, maintenance, and installation services we provide across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and the wider UAE. Please read them carefully before booking a service. If you have any questions, our team is just a WhatsApp message away.

Introduction & Acceptance

By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or booking any service with FIXIT UAE, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all service categories including plumbing, electrical, AC repair, carpentry, painting, handyman services, glazing, locksmith work, masonry, and any other maintenance or repair work we undertake.

Important Note

We reserve the right to refuse service to any property or individual if we determine that the working conditions are unsafe, illegal, or violate UAE regulations. Your safety and our team's safety always come first.

Our Services

FIXIT UAE provides professional repair and maintenance services for residential, commercial, and industrial properties across the UAE. Here is what you can expect:

  • Skilled Technicians: All our technicians are trained, experienced, and background-checked. They arrive in uniform with proper ID badges.
  • Same-Day Service: For most repairs booked before 2 PM, we offer same-day dispatch across Dubai. Emergency services are available 24/7.
  • Genuine Parts: We use manufacturer-approved or high-quality compatible parts for all repairs. Cheap knock-offs are not our style.
  • Clean Work: Our team cleans up after every job. We bring drop cloths, shoe covers, and vacuums to leave your space spotless.
  • Service Scope: We only perform work that has been explicitly agreed upon in the booking or quote. Additional work requires your approval before we proceed.

We are not a government entity, utility company, or insurance provider. We are an independent maintenance contractor working directly for you.

Booking & Cancellations

Booking a service with us is straightforward, but here are the ground rules:

  • How to Book: You can book via our website form, WhatsApp at 052 211 2800, phone call, or email. All bookings are confirmed via WhatsApp or SMS.
  • Accurate Information: Please provide correct contact details, property address, and a clear description of the issue. Wrong addresses or unreachable phone numbers waste everyone's time.
  • Cancellation by You: You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 4 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations within 4 hours may incur a nominal AED 50 dispatch fee to cover our technician's travel time.
  • Cancellation by Us: In rare cases (severe weather, technician illness, or force majeure), we may need to reschedule. We will notify you immediately and offer the next available slot.
  • No-Show Policy: If our technician arrives and cannot access the property or reach you after 15 minutes of waiting, the visit may be marked as a no-show and charged at the standard call-out rate.

Pricing & Payments

We believe in transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Here is how it works:

  • Quotes: For most standard jobs, we provide a fixed-price quote before starting work. Complex jobs may require an on-site assessment first.
  • Call-Out Fee: Some services include a diagnostic or call-out charge, which is clearly stated in your quote. This fee is waived if you proceed with the recommended repair.
  • Additional Work: If our technician discovers additional issues during the job, they will stop and explain the situation. No extra work is done without your explicit approval and updated pricing.
  • Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and Apple Pay. Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Invoices: All payments come with a proper VAT invoice where applicable. Keep it for your warranty claims and records.

No Hidden Charges

If you ever feel charged for something you did not agree to, contact us immediately. We review every billing dispute personally and will make it right. That is our commitment to fair business.

Liability Limitations

We take our work seriously, but it is important to set realistic expectations:

  • Pre-Existing Damage: We are not liable for damage that existed before our technician arrived. Please document the condition of your property before the service if you have concerns.
  • Indirect Damages: We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — such as lost business income, spoiled food due to fridge failure, or water damage from pre-existing leaks.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control — natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or severe weather.
  • Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any single job is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service, except where prohibited by UAE law.

That said, we carry comprehensive insurance for our technicians and operations. If our team genuinely causes damage through negligence, we will work with you to make it right through our insurance provider.

Property Access & Safety

To keep everyone safe and ensure smooth service delivery:

  • Safe Access: You must provide safe, unobstructed access to the work area. Please secure pets and clear the workspace of valuables and fragile items before our arrival.
  • Utilities: Ensure water, electricity, and gas supplies are accessible and safe to work with. If utilities are shut off at the building level, we cannot complete the work.
  • Building Permissions: For apartments and gated communities, you are responsible for obtaining any necessary access permissions, parking approvals, or elevator bookings.
  • Hazardous Conditions: If our technician identifies hazardous conditions (exposed wiring, gas leaks, structural instability), they may refuse to proceed until the hazard is resolved by a specialist.
  • Valuables: Please secure cash, jewelry, and sensitive documents. While our technicians are trustworthy professionals, we are not responsible for misplaced personal items.

User Conduct

We expect respectful, lawful behavior from everyone who uses our services:

  • No Abuse: Verbal or physical abuse toward our staff will result in immediate termination of service and potential legal action. Our technicians deserve respect.
  • Accurate Requests: Do not book services under false pretenses or provide misleading information about the job scope. This wastes time and raises costs for everyone.
  • No Tampering: Do not attempt to reverse-engineer our website, scrape our content, or interfere with our booking systems. This violates UAE cybercrime laws.
  • Reviews & Feedback: We welcome honest reviews on Google, social media, or directly to us. Fake reviews, blackmail attempts, or defamation will be addressed legally.

Intellectual Property

Everything you see on fixituae.org belongs to us or our licensed partners:

  • Content: All text, images, logos, videos, and graphics on our website are the property of FIXIT UAE and protected by UAE and international copyright laws.
  • Trademarks: The FIXIT UAE name, logo, and tagline are registered trademarks. Unauthorized use for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
  • Before/After Photos: We may take photos of completed work for our portfolio and marketing. If you do not want your property photographed, please inform our technician before the job begins.
  • Reviews: By submitting a review or testimonial, you grant us permission to use it on our website, social media, and marketing materials.

Our website may contain links to external sites — payment gateways, supplier websites, or government portals. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service.
